| Step
1 - Set Up Your
Site |
|
|
OrdersLink has "back end" administrative
functions that allow you to
define colors, logos and other
variables to your site. This
area of your site is password
protected and you decide who
gets access to what functions.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Using ShopWorks OnSite, you
decide which customers
and salespersons you are
going to set up for your
site. You can set up access
for all customers and salespersons
or just the ones you want.
Once
access is defined in ShopWorks,
you email an update file
to the website. Within minutes
the site access has been
updated.

3 - Update Order
Status |
|
|
Your internal OnSite system
automatically updates the
web site at times and using
parameters that you define.
Customers
and salespersons can now
go to the site and see order
information. You can display
orders for particular time
periods, only customers with
web access, orders in progress,
orders invoiced, or all of
the above.

|
| Step
4- Login To The
Site |
|
|
You can give both customers
and salespersons (or other
employees) access to your
site. When
customers log in, they
can only see their orders.
Salespersons can be given
rights to see their orders
only or all orders for
the company.

|
|
|
|
| Step
5 - Check On
Order Status |
|
|
Using the "Order Finder" users
can see all of their orders
or just specific ones.

Once they have found what they
are looking for they can see
the order details by clicking
on the arrow next to each order.
You control which fields are
displayed through the administrative
back end to the web site.
