Feature Set

Listed below are some of the capabilities of the PromoStores product. For more information on a particular feature, or to inquire about a feature that you do not see but may exist, please contact us or use the demo link to evaluate a sample PromoStores site.

Keep in mind that ALL features are included in our basic pricing. There are no additional charges for the existing feature-set.


Basic Site Features
 
1. All site management is done from a password-protected administrative backend that is accessed through a web browser.
2. Documentation and manuals on how to use PromoStores is available from the administrative backend.
3. Site appearance and navigation is completely customizable including inserted graphics, entire HTML pages and Flash presentations.
4. Unique URL for your site. Your web address will be unique and not a "sub-address" of another company.
5. Entire site can be password protected to allow only certain users access to the site.
5. Banner ad management. Create and manage banner ads on your site that can take users to another web site.
6. Search engine registration. Built-in tools allow you to submit your web site to all of the major search engines making it easier to find your site on the internet.
7. Email accounts. Set up POP email accounts on your site with the domain name of your site. This is an included feature and there are no extra charges to have email accounts.
8. Visitor reports. Generate reports showing how many people visit your site each day or week. Copy and paste this information to Excel spreadsheets or other applications.
9. Email marketing list. Your web site can be set up to register visitors email addresses. These addresses can then be used to build marketing campaigns. This is an "opt in" email list and is NOT spam!
                           

Shopping Cart Features
 
1. Product catalog can have multiple Categories and sub-Categories.
2. Categories can be password protected on a category-by-category basis. This allows you to create several "Sub-catalogs" from a single main catalog and control which customers can use which categories.
3. Powerful product management features allow you to manually create products, copy and paste them from other existing products in the catalog, or import them from your OnSite system.
4. Easy control of product properties including what sizes are allowed to be used for each product.
5. Matrix pricing for products including additional charges for XXL and XXXL sizing.
6. Products can be put "on sale" including limits on time frame and pricing for sale.
7. Powerful check-out process management allows you to control the entire process including multiple shipping options and costs, special instructions, date required and partial orders.
8. Orders can be paid via Credit Card or by other means (checks...purchase orders). Credit card processing can be done offline or online. All transactions are SSL (Secure Socket Layer) secured. No credit card information is sent unsecured or via email to protect your customers. NOTE: Online card processing may require you to set up an account with an online merchant and may involve additional costs.
9. Customers are sent a confirmation email within minutes of placing an order directly from the web site.
10. Coupons can be issued and used during checkout for employee or other incentive programs. Creation and management of coupons is controlled through the administrative backend.
11. Entire catalog can be points-based instead of dollar-based. This feature is perfect for customers who want their own point-based employee incentive programs.
12. Orders generated from the web site are batch or individually imported into ShopWorks OnSite system. This eliminates double data entry and allows orders from the web site to be processed quickly and efficiently.    
                    

Special Features
 
1. Newsletter Manager. Create and manage newsletters on your web site. Users can view and search a library of newsletters.
2. Press Release Manager allows you to create and manage press releases including a searchable database of press releases.
3. FAQ Wizard allows you to create, post and manage a section on your web site for customer's "most frequently asked questions". Think of this as an online "Help" tool for your customers.
4. The Document Wizard feature gives you powerful management tools for document publishing. Users can access a searchable database where they can find and view documents you have posted to your site.
5. Survey Builder lets you create and report on customer surveys. Create a survey for your customers, email them a link, and analyze the results...all online. Use this tool to evaluate customer wants and trends.
